John H. Stroger Hospital Rheumatology Scanning Rheumatology Treatment

PATIENT CARE

The Division of Rheumatology specializes in the care of patients with musculoskeletal diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, vasculitis, gout, myositis and osteoarthritis. Our clinics are located at Specialty Care Center at John H. Stroger Jr Hospital, Cermak Health Services and at Provident hospitals. We also serve as inpatient consultants at Stroger Hospital.

TEACHING

  • The division offers medical students, residents, and fellows didactic teaching sessions, hands on clinical experience, and opportunities for research.
  • The division has a combined fellowship with the Section of Rheumatology at Rush University Medical Center with outstanding training in both the clinical and research aspects of rheumatic diseases. http://www.rush.edu/professionals/gme/rheumatology/index.html
