About 40% of our residents enter fellowships after graduation. They frequently choose:
- Cardiology (21%),
- Gastroenterology (10%),
- Infectious Disease (9%),
- Hematology/Oncology (17%), and
- Pulmonary/Critical Care (16%).
A little over 60% of our residents stay in Chicago at Stroger, Rush, UIC, Northwestern and the University of Chicago.
