In addition, there are combined fellowships with RUSH in:
  • Nephrology is a combined program with the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).

About 40% of our residents enter fellowships after graduation. They frequently choose:
  • Cardiology (21%),
  • Gastroenterology (10%),
  • Infectious Disease (9%),
  • Hematology/Oncology (17%), and
  • Pulmonary/Critical Care (16%).
A little over 60% of our residents stay in Chicago at Stroger, Rush, UIC, Northwestern and the University of Chicago.
