The rotation consists of four weeks of outpatient clinics at Stroger Hospital. Students will work with residents and attending physicians on a variety of challenging clinical cases. In addition, they will have the opportunity to observe a variety of common dermatologic procedures. Typical hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Prerequisite: General Medicine
- Duration: 4 week rotation
- Clinical Rounds: Yes
- Academic Sessions: Yes, daily
- Call: None
- Regular days off: Saturday and Sunday off.
Time off for interviews must be discussed with chief resident. Absences will not be considered excused unless approved in advance.
