Giving to CRU

The CRU was created in 1998 to facilitate, coordinate, and lead interdisciplinary research within the Department of Medicine of John H. Stroger, Jr. of Cook County. Its goal is to promote action research on highly prevalent problems affecting the health of the vulnerable and diverse patient population. The scope of research, therefore, is necessarily broad—spanning health services research, clinical care, and community-based studies.

Although focused on conducting collaborative research, the CRU also promotes research through consultation and by teaching courses on clinical research methods.

We welcome your support

Your gift will help us:

  • Conduct collaborative rigorous scientific research.
  • Offer continuous learning classes on clinical research methods.
  • Help communities we serve by community-based studies.

If you would like to make a gift or if you need more details on our specific giving opportunities please send your contact information and convenient times by completing the form below for a CRU Co-Director to call you to discuss and assist you with your contribution.
